Gary Wanberg
Gary is a licensed Private Investigator in the State of Montana, and a member in good standing of the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI. He has been a member of the Crimestoppers Board for more than fifteen years.
Gary and his wife and family returned to Montana in 1990, residing in Billings, and have been residents of Missoula, Montana, since 1998. They are proud parents and grandparents, and have served as foster parents with Missoula Youth Homes.
Gary retired from the FBI after 26 years of service, Gary served seven years of his career as an FBI Headquarters Supervisor. This position included program management, training of other FBI Agents, nationwide travel to assist in ongoing investigations, and international travel to conduct liaison with foreign governmental agencies and major corporations.
His training and experience focused on criminal, counterintelligence, and security matters; complex investigative techniques and technical countermeasures.
Gary’s focus on justice and crime prevention is an extension of his love for family and support of his
community.
