Due Diligence
What is “Due Diligence”? Simply stated, Due Diligence is reasonable steps taken to avoid harm to a person, property, or business entity.
This can be tailored to the specific situation and the client's desire. It is usually a voluntary investigation to assess the risk associated with one or more individuals, and/or a company.
This is accomplished by examining the targets current status, background, and past history. The extent and depth of the inquiry can be established with the client to avoid unnecessary intrusion and expense.
